SJG in the press – progress of the business so far

Sometimes you need a little boost from somewhere just to give you a helping hand. This is true as a rule in life, but especially as a new business. Every sale, every new customer, every review or recommendation really matters so much. So, being featured in the local press in an article about my new business was an incredible experience.

SJG Foods Artisan Bakery featuring in the local press

I was very fortunate to be interviewed for an article published in the Eastern Daily Press earlier in the year. This helped no end in spreading the word about SJG Foods. Since then, I’ve had two very successful delivery trips into Norwich, making a change from my usual deliverys around Great Yarmouth and the surrounding villages.

Plus, I’ve reached 1,000 followers on Facebook, which is an awesome milestone to reach less than 6 months into this venture (if I do say so myself). I’ve met some lovely new customers and received some great reviews and recommendations as a result.

Christmas is coming – did somebody say Chestnut bread?

I am about to launch my Christmas menu, which serves as yet another reminder of how far I’ve come in such a short space of time! The only way is up for my artisan bakery and I’m so very excited about the future. Especially next year, when the world will hopefully start to become more normal and accessible again. Hopefully that means many more special menus to come, like Easter and Mothers Day along with summer specials for 2021.

Keep an eye out on the website, Facebook and Instagram for updates on where you can find my artisan bread and bakes. Plus, keep your ear to the ground for the incoming Christmas menu, which will hopefully be the first of many.
